YOUR DRESS

Your wedding dress is one of the most personal choices you'll ever make - after your husband-to-be, that is! In fact, choosing it is not unlike falling in love. You know when you've found the right one.

That's why I tend to think of the wedding dresses I design and the gardens I create in much the same way (see About Lyn). I want them to be something natural and beautiful and so romantic that they will take your breath away.

So I go out and find whatever fabrics I need to create that magic - yard upon yard of the best silk organza, satin or taffeta. Then I might add pearls and flowers, diamante buckles or covered buttons, whatever seems right for the dress.

I let the design take shape as I work, until the moment comes when I know it's exactly right. Then all that's left to do is to have it beautifully made. People say that my dresses are unique, that they really bring you alive. I love the thought of that.

P.S. You'll be in good company. My dresses have travelled far and wide - from Harrods, Liberty and Fortnum & Mason in London, to the USA, Japan, Germany, Austria and Switzerland!
